What services do you provide?

We are kitchen designers, who craft our bespoke cabinetry and furniture to order. We tailor our services according to the needs of our clients, so have a flexible approach to what is required for each project – the starting point is the basic requirements for the room, the practical and visual aspects of the cabinetry and furniture. The breadth of our advice and support will vary and can include worktops, appliances and all the other finishes. Finally, we offer installation too.

How would you describe your style?

"Our cabinetry and furniture has a simple, unfussy, style, the cupboards are intended to form the backdrop of a room, so they can be successfully combined with furniture and objects from any era.

We have a utilitarian approach to kitchen design; function is key for what is probably the most hardworking furniture in the house, and this is apparent throughout our designs. Our kitchens are quite literally a pleasure to use. 

Proportion is important in our style too, visually our cabinetry and furniture have an innate harmony, balance and elegance. Our materials too are all consciously considered for their sustainability, durability and beauty, which of course is reflected in our style with natural finishes and high-quality materials throughout.     

We have curated a gorgeous and eclectic collection of colours and woods and work with our clients to draw delicious combinations from these. This is very much part of Pluck’s style - how wood and colour interact with each other and can be beautifully paired. The palette is for reflecting individual tastes, from bright and bold to more traditional, neutral or monochrome, a kitchen’s style will be quintessentially Pluck with our client’s personal twist - no two Pluck kitchens are the same! A manifestation of our belief that the kitchen, the heart of the home, should reflect the soul of the people who live there."

Please describe a recently completed project or tell us about the bespoke service that you offer

"From period townhouses in London to newly built eco homes, from rural retreats and 1920s seaside boltholes, to city flats and Edwardian family homes, our projects are extremely varied, exemplification of the fact Pluck’s style works in any home, surrounded by architecture from different eras.  

An example of this is three projects we recently completed - one a family home on the Isle of Skye, the other a sustainable ‘fabric first’ house in the New Forest, the other a Grade II* listed early Victorian townhouse in the City of Westminster. 

We have clients coming back for repeat kitchens when they move and also recommending us to family and friends - you can’t really get more of an endorsement than this and it makes us feel extremely proud of the integrity of what of we produce."
