Neatsmith is a family run business that was founded in 2005 by Andrew Nagel and his two sons Philipp and Mathew to provide high quality, well designed wardrobes with a service to match. The company started with a showroom above their workshop in London and, 15 years on, while all their designs are still manufactured in the UK, they are now an 80 strong team of dedicated designers, cabinet makers and fitters who continue to prioritise design, quality and service from start to finish. The brothers' background in hospitality has led them to focus on the service side, meaning that no part of the process is outsourced and clients are looked after every step of the way. It’s this sense of care and attention to which they attribute their client loyalty, with many returning for new projects time and time again.
Over the years, the offering has expanded to cater for the needs of their growing client base. Now, Neatsmith not only designs, creates and installs bespoke wardrobes - whether for first-time buyers looking to create practical yet beautiful storage solutions or those commissioning a luxury walk-in wardrobe and dream dressing room - it also creates tailor-made furniture to complement any bedroom design, and made-to-measure study rooms.

"Our clients value the difference that having an experienced designer to partner with them every step of the way makes to the process. Our design team always thoroughly consider bespoke storage solutions within a home to ensure every square inch is used in the best possible way. Whether creating a walk-in wardrobe or an at home study, our role is to bring all our years of expertise so that whatever the complexities of the chosen space (such as under-eave lofts or older properties where no wall is exactly straight), our clients are confident that they are perfectly planned for.
It is important to us that we focus not only on the space itself, but the way our clients want to use it to help organise their homes. Neat is in the name, and over the years we have designed a range of tailored organising solutions (from pull-out shoe drawers and folding shelves, to swivel hooks and eco-leather watch and jewellery trays) that can be included in any design to best fit our clients’ lives. We also believe in the value of the right finishing touches, such as lighting, and offer a bespoke colour match service ensuring that the design enhances and complements and the rest of the room.
Commissioning a new dressing room or home office can be daunting and we understand it is difficult to imagine how designs will come to life in 2D drawings - which is why we create our designs in 3D CAD renders to give clients not only the best possible preview of how their room will look but also the opportunity for any final adjustments within the 3D space. Once a design is completed, each wardrobe, study or bespoke piece of furniture is manufactured here in the UK, and expertly fitted by one of the Neatsmith team who ensure that the fit and finish, both inside and out, are perfect."
