About Us

Lauren Neave Interiors is an interior design company based in Parsons Green, London, led by Lauren herself. Her residential projects have spanned from Notting Hill and Belgravia to Parsons Green, Wandsworth, and Wimbledon Village, working across a range of budgets on full home rebuilds and renovations through to single rooms and bespoke seasonal projects. She has also worked on projects in Devon and the South of France.

Lauren enjoys project management from start to completion, working closely alongside architects on the spatial layouts of homes, with builders during the work itself, and personally interacting with all the suppliers and tradespersons along the way. Lauren also takes great pleasure from working with clients to focus solely on the interior design elements; be it a whole home redevelopment, or for individual rooms and projects; from hard furnishings through to lighting and soft furnishings.

At the core of Lauren’s work, across all budgets and all project types, is a client-led mentality; Lauren believes that clients’ own ideas, dreams, and inspirations should always lead her work. Lauren’s job as the interior designer is to bring her experience, knowledge and wide network of industry contacts to bear, so as to help realise that dream home or space for her clients.

Having been born in Cape Town, Lauren moved to the UK in her teens. Before setting up on her own in interior design and project management, Lauren had a successful career in finance, after which she pursued her passion for interiors and build design. Post qualification Lauren trained as an interior design project manager with an SW London business, evolving her build, design and interiors skillsets.

"Inspired by both the town houses of Holland Park, London and the brownstone houses of New York, a recent project saw Lauren open up a dark terraced SW London house into an airy, sunlit, and spacious modern home that retains classic traditional features.  The ground floor was extended, the high ceilings maintained, and the end wall then replaced with three pairs of bespoke floor-to-ceiling French doors that we designed, each fitted with traditional cremone bolts and locks. These open onto a terrace along the width of the house, overlooking the garden. The room itself features a beautiful 18th-century style Breche marble fire surround and a custom-made oak branch chandelier. Three rooms of the first floor were combined to create a spacious, calming and luxurious master bedroom and bathroom, with a walk-in shower and a freestanding bath that sits upon aged oak floorboards. We chose a unique piece of marble for the double basins’ surround and then created a bespoke mirror to fill the wall above. The lower ground floor lends itself to modern life, having also been extended and opened up, such that a large kitchen leads into the separate dining area and then onto the family’s playroom and children’s sofa area. The garden is beyond, accessed through glass wooden doors we designed that span the width of the house, and again flood a once dark space with natural light."
