"We recently completed a private home in the Sloane Building in Chelsea, London. The building is a former school and Grade II listed, so the property had wonderful bones and original Edwardian architectural detailing that we wanted to compliment and emphasise in our design concept, whilst adding a contemporary twist. We mirrored the original arched doorways through our choice of softly curved furniture and by incorporating additional arches within the joinery in the living space and in the glass doors separating the rooms. We wanted to maintain a sense of flow and movement throughout the home by using simple forms and shapes, adding depth with textural details. The neutral palette of layered creams and whites is offset by rich brass accents. Our design of this property won an award at the International Design Awards 2022.

One of our favourite rooms was the master bedroom; an architecturally flawless space but challenging to merge into both dressing and bedroom without blocking the light from its large bay window. We chose to make the bed, a bespoke design with a luxuriously upholstered headboard, the focal point within the room and centre it in the middle, with the bespoke walk-in wardrobes, covered in hand-painted wallpaper, antique brass detailing and antique mirror, wrapping the sides of the room. This allows the abundant natural light to still flood the room and has created a sumptuous, inviting master bedroom."
