About Us

Astrid Houssin is a London-based interior architect & designer who opened her own studio in 2019 after working for Turner Pocock for 6 years, designing and managing high-end residential projects on an international scale. As a trained architect, her focus has always been to highlight the original features of every project, whilst responding to the needs of the modern family. She designs spaces that are soft and aesthetically beautiful, creating comfortable and welcoming homes for her clients that reflect their personality and lifestyle. The studio’s international portfolio ranges from Parisian apartments and chalets in the Alps, to London townhouses and large country estates.

We get involved with contractors from the earliest stages to ensure each architectural detail is considered - this being materials, bespoke joinery, bathrooms and fittings.

The studio offers full design services from FF&E and procurement to technical drawings and planning permission.

How would you describe your style?

"Astrid praises eclectic interiors which are brought together by a carefully curated collection of contemporary and antique pieces, expertly introducing accents of playful colour and texture in wall coverings, fabrics and soft furnishings."

Please describe a recently completed project or tell us about the bespoke service that you offer

"Our most recently completed project was a duplex apartment in Notting Hill. The work had to be completed quickly, so we were on a tight deadline to issue the build information. The aim was to create a balanced tranquil home with a minimalist quality. Simplicity was central to the client’s brief so our challenge was to bring interest through the finishes and architectural details such as stonework and built-in joinery. The result is a timeless design with an ode to the classical - a place to retreat from the chaos of the city."
