"A basement renovation in a London house designed a while ago is one of my favourite projects to date. The idea was to design an open-plan space for my client to entertain friends and family. We came up with a modern style concept, blending soft warm textures with the hardness and punch of classic industrial design. Love the use of color and pattern to create a modern take on the industrial aesthetic!

A minimal bathroom in black and white tones constitutes a timeless combination that won't date. The monochrome scheme can be a vibrant and dynamic addition to a room of any size - in the bathroom can be soothing! The white bare brick wall and the black frame shower screen create the perfect minimal industrial style with a somewhat Zen feel.

Keeping the industrial influence and the black elements in all the rooms of the basement, moved to design the lounge and fitness room. We found it essential to keep the space open and airy with full-length glass windows and doors out to the light-well to allow the natural light to flow through space whilst the gym overlooks the lounge room on the opposite side."
