How would you describe your style?

"At Alexander James Interiors we pride ourselves on putting our customers first, whether that’s a private client seeking a full renovation, a turn key build from scratch or a developer looking for a show home. We are proud to have no dedicated house style, focusing instead on crafting memorable schemes for our clients that serve the test of time, with most importantly their design wishes at the heart of what we create. Our team comprises 20 dedicated interior designers and architects, along with an in-house installation team, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our clients."

"Alexander James Interiors continues to work on some of the country’s most sought after homes, most recently completing projects in central London, the prestigious Wentworth Estate and St Georges Hill in Surrey. Not to mention fantastic coastal homes in Sandbanks and Canford Cliffs.

Our interior design and architectural team had the privilege of working on the stunning Abbots Drive, located within a private estate in Wentworth, Surrey.

Having collaborated on numerous projects with Alexander James Interiors, the developer was confident in our ability to adhere to the initial brief, trusting our well-respected reputation and expertise in delivering the turnkey design service required for this level of new build.

This included interior architecture, space planning, specification, soft interiors and furnishing, and even the accessories.

We are proud to have secured the business of the new owner, which allowed us to further develop the FF&E requirements to fulfil their families’ specific needs, creating property that required much love and attention, into a stylish yet functional family home. The design was then slightly modified to suit the new owners, who fortunately appreciated the overall scheme but wanted to personalise two bedrooms for their daughters, aged 3 and 5. To create a child-friendly environment, all upholstered fabrics were replaced with 'aqua' and 'easy clean' materials that are stain-proof, while maintaining the original colour scheme. After understanding the buyer’s preferences, we incorporated more comfortable and cosy upholstery and added wallpaper to the dining room and girls' bedrooms for an enhanced wow factor. The client also provided an additional budget for the playroom, accessories, select upholstery pieces, and artwork. This allowed the project to become a turnkey solution, requiring the new owners to bring only their suitcases and baby grand piano.

This project is particularly special to us, not only because of our delightful clients but also because it showcases the seamless collaboration between our AJI Interior Architecture and Interior Design teams, resulting in a truly remarkable outcome."
