Inspired by a love of coastal living and the ocean, XV Stripes captures the essence of laid-back, sustainable luxe for your bedroom and home. The company was born out of founder Izzey Hung's desire to reflect her love of the ocean, and all things on and under it – particularly her home on the Isle of Wight. When an intensive search for blue stripes failed to inspire her, finding only a lack of sustainable quality products, she decided the time had come to follow her dream. XV Stripes was born. An introduction to designer Vicky Sanders (previously Head Design for Matthew Williamson) followed and the creative process began, with the company now offering

"At XV stripes, our creativity extends far beyond colour, images and design. It floods every aspect of our business, and it’s especially important when it comes to the production process.
The vibrant colour and high luxury feel of our linens, cushion covers and throws don't just from the dyeing process, as the yarns have been developed, the natural fibres they originate from and the way they are woven together all play their part too.
Not only are our fabrics sourced solely from sustainable suppliers and they comply to Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX®. Our XV fabric is uniquely created with a jacquard weave previously not used for bedding. It is this that lends our bedding ranges their delightful texture, depth of colour and quality feel.
Our attention to detail is obsessive. From the original hand-drawn images adorning our interiors ranges to the foraged and finished driftwood toggles on our bedding, every detail is passionately checked and approved before despatch."
"We both confess to having to rein back the creative vibes, it's one of the reasons XV Stripes is more than just a bedding offering! Whilst the collections are all inspired by life on and off the water, whether that be oceans, lakes, or rivers, in addition, we also have a unique bespoke service.
XV Bespoke gives customers the opportunity to create their own hand-drawn collection of cushions, wallpapers, and fabrics. This personal service is about creating designs from the customers own life stories, anything from their own boats with navigational chart backgrounds, to complex designs of travel adventures across the years. Each design is unique, with customers not only getting their own products, they retain the hand-drawn and digital artwork that inspired the design."
