About Us

Not your average dried flowers. Appreciation Project is an online retailer specialising in dried and preserved flowers and tablescapes to fill your world with colour. All of its flowers are 100% natural, staying fresh and beautiful for up to a year. The team encourage you to take a moment out and have fun arranging your flowers following their step by step tutorials and inspiration. Appreciation Project's maintenance-free, zero wilting blooms deliver a sustainable way to enjoy stunning flowers for longer.

The husband and wife team behind the company started their business during lockdown 2020 with the aim of providing sustainable, eco-friendly and long-lasting gifts for the UK market. Natasha has come from a background in the fashion industry designing luxury handbags and has redirected this creativity at the dried and preserved flower market, which gives the company a unique look and an edge over others. They strive to pitch themselves as being more ‘luxury’ and in doing so, purposely avoided the staple brown paper, round sticker approach seen throughout the market.

How would you describe your style?

"A modern take with a unique mix of colours and textures, equating to a bold and striking take on dried and preserved blooms – our arrangements are far from the rustic styles of the 1970s. Taking influence from the whimsical photographs of Tim Walker and Wes Anderson's film sets to the colourful landscapes by artist David Hockney, our style unites a unique flare and daring colours to make a statement in your home or workplace."

"To appreciate is the core of our ethos. We take care to individually hand wrap your limited-edition flowers and add our signature ribbon and ric rac, securing your arrangement directly to the door, making a desirable luxury gift from the outside in. This carries through across our larger bespoke delivery carton or our newly-launched letterbox flower series, Good Things Come in Small Packages. We ensure all our packaging is recycled, recyclable and made in the UK, reducing our carbon footprint at every step and impact on the planet where we can.

We also offer a bespoke service for your home, retail or workspace to help you create a lasting, eco-friendly alternative to fresh flowers. We are also just about to expand into the wedding space as we have had a number of commissions for this summer, and have worked with a number of holiday rental and commercial spaces in and around London and Kent."
