"My passion for children’s spaces goes back to my own childhood, spent on a beautiful old farm in the Netherlands. I was always looking for ways to make my room more beautiful and spent many hours rearranging and decorating my room. Fast forward to London. After training as an interior designer and learning my craft at a small architectural practice, I worked on high-end residential interiors for nearly a decade before deciding to become a children’s interior designer. This is what I’ve been doing ever since. I adore working closely with parents to create beautiful nurseries, bedrooms and playrooms for their children. My focus is on designing harmonious spaces with a cosy, personal touch. Then, no matter how much mess you throw at them, they will always look stylish. But, as a childrens interior designer, I design my rooms to be lived in, not just to look good. Clever space planning and bespoke storage are core to my approach to creating beautiful yet practical kids rooms and kids designs that stand the test of time.
