Our experts define precise organisation and storage solutions to suit your needs while our close relationships with an impressive list of partners mean you can equip your space with the very highest spec appliances, extraction and smart home integration systems. Due to our innovative and exclusive way of working with natural stone we can slice slabs to a depth of just 11mm. With these surfaces being so thin, and therefore light, they can be applied to drawers and other moving elements in addition to fixed cabinetry. This allows us to realise many more design possibilities including cantilevered stone islands, while intricate details such as mitred joints and recessed grip areas create a seamless look.

Our brief for this kitchen (see above) was to create a sleek and elegant kitchen that didn’t compromise on functionality. As the owners love to cook and entertain, their requirements extended beyond looks to include practical surfaces, bespoke storage and hardworking appliances. We made the layout intuitive to use. Having the cooking on the island enables the cook to interact with guests while preparing the meal, while the cooling appliances were placed in an accessible location where they can be easily reached by the family without interrupting the cook. The island unit, clad entirely in Taj Mahal quartzite, showcases our precise engineering skills – the cabinet fronts are made from solid quartzite cut to slabs just 11mm thick. The same stone is wrapped around a steel sub-structure to create a 4.3m long worktop with intricate details such as 45-degree mitred joints and recessed grip areas to create a monolithic appearance. The remaining cabinetry is made from dark pigmented concrete, which is hand-trowelled and built up in layers like polished plaster. For the sink area worktop and splashback, the owners opted for hot-rolled steel featuring two artfully welded-in sinks and draining board. The finely textured matte steel surface is resistant to fingerprints and scratches making it perfect for this young family. One of the most notable points about the appliances in this kitchen is how unnoticeable they are. With many high-capacity models included they barely impact the design. The upholstered banquette area brings colour and shape to the kitchen. The sensual shape was inspired by a sofa the client had spotted while travelling. Alongside flashes of warm brass, plum leather and walnut, this relaxing seating area serves to soften the kitchen’s hard surfaces.
