"Finding the right interior design company for a residential project can seem daunting. We aim to make the process stress-free for our clients. We start each project with a free consultation and then visit a property to get an understanding of the space we are working with. This is the beginning of a close working relationship. And it's your chance to get to know us.

We recently designed and project managed the renovation of a luxurious townhouse in London, including a part-excavated basement for the kitchen. The clients were very hands-on in the design process. They wanted their home to reflect their lifestyle and showcase their unique collections of antiques and artwork. Luckily for us, they liked our classic, urban contemporary interiors and commissioned us for the project.

The excavated basement contrasts with the traditional architecture and features of the original home. The polished concrete floor sets the tone for a modern style, with a white Boffi kitchen. The kitchen remodel includes as much storage as possible and makes use of all areas, such as intelligent solutions and pull-out cupboards under the stairs. When considering the interior architecture in the basement, we wanted to soften the aesthetic with bespoke reclaimed wood features, surrounding the minimalist fireplace and banquette seating.

The master bedroom and dressing room have bespoke wardrobes designed specifically for the clients’ unique pieces and needs. Matching with the more classical aspects of the home the bespoke cabinetry has shaker-style door mouldings that continue onto a bay window seat with hidden storage. The wardrobe interiors are planned specifically to the clients’ clothing and shoe measurements and details such as drawer dividers and tie racks to ensure the best use of space.

The bathrooms have a classical luxury interior design with a mix of stunning marble surfaces balanced with softer painted cabinetry finishes. With the use of Drummonds detailed sanitaryware, each bathroom – while in the traditional style – has its own feel and aesthetic. The lighter tones of the Carrara marble in the master bathroom pairs beautifully with the pale French greys to create a tranquil atmosphere. The darker and more dramatic tones of the guest shower room are exaggerated with the moody blacks and panelled walls."
