Eton House: I worked closely with the clients and a specialised restoration team, to pare back and preserve much of the early character of this beautiful 16th Century red brick house, in the heart of Eton. All the furniture was either bought in auction or custom made using traditional methods. The 18th century Suzani, used to frame the Ottoman in the drawing room was the starting point for the scheme here; finished with a greek key border and on elegant arched mahogany legs. The use of a light teal heritage paint on the walls in the Drawing and Morning room allowed the carefully curated selection of gilt framed portraits to sing out. The result is an unfussy light filled house which the family enjoy for both entertaining and family time alike.
