Richard Parr + Associates is an architectural and interior design practice with offices in London, the Cotswolds and an associate in Miami. Founded in 2012 by leading architectural and interior designer Richard Parr, the company has a rich portfolio encompassing cutting edge new-builds, renovation and complete restoration. As a curator of lifestyles, we are fascinated by art, culture and architectural history and invite clients to work with us exploring diverse points of reference to influence their new space.
A Cotswold village house was stripped back to its core, refurbished and then extended. The purpose being to create an expansive, airy and dramatic space. A space that flows and works for both family life and entertaining, whilst still complimenting the existing house. The Village façade of the house was treated in a subtle and discreet manner, giving way to a streamlined glass wing to the rear. Although mirroring the 17th Century gables at the centre of the house, it departs from the traditional with a contemporary aesthetic.
