"Building work was underway to re-configure and extend this five bedroom cottage on the coast in Cornwall, when the client realised she needed help…..Giving Tanya her brief in one site meeting and with just 12 weeks to complete the project, she returned to her extremely busy life in Scotland, with five children and a business to run! Very quickly, Tanya was drawing up furniture plans, commissioning bespoke joinery, sourcing furniture and fittings, right down to the traditional coat hooks, and specifying everything from the paint colours to the poolside sun loungers. It was a project managed almost entirely by email, with the client putting her complete trust in Tanya to create a relaxed holiday home, using natural and hardwearing materials that would withstand family life. Completed on time and on budget, the whole family loved their first summer in the house."
