How would you describe your style?

"At RMD, Rachel and her team work hard to establish a scheme that is appropriate for each client, each business and each building. They believe individuality is paramount for each client and work hard to interpret their taste and lifestyle to create beautifully designed and considered – yet functional spaces. Their design is diverse and varied and includes country estates, period properties, barn conversations, apartments, chalets, holiday homes, new builds and commercial premises. They love their diverse portfolio and creating spaces their clients love."

"This Cheshire barn conversion project involved RMD transforming an ageing barn and dated kitchen into an incredible home for our clients. After extensive work the space was transformed into a stylish and inviting area. Bespoke cabinetry was tailored to suit the client's every need and storage requirements.

The neutral colour pallet had an emphasis on texture by using different materials to match the relaxed Ibiza feel of the client brief. Additionally, a large porcelain floor tile was selected and used throughout the kitchen area to incorporate underfloor heating, making the choice both stylish and practical. RMD was mindful throughout of the client's lifestyle preferences and desire for a healthy environment, faux leathers and suedes were sourced and low VOC paint was used. In addition, a wonderful selection of carefully curated home accessories such as crystals and soy candles were used to address the client's mindful approach to life.

Keen to complement the idyllic countryside view from inside, plants were added and large windows and doors with wave-headed voiles allowed light and nature into the space. This was enhanced by installing a glazed internal wall, with a shelving unit built in front to add interest and soften the transition between the kitchen and living area."
