The brief was to extend and renovate the ground floor of an end of terrace Victorian London property. The client had an extensive, bold art collection which was the red thread throughout the project. Their objective was to create a stylish home that was both practical for two young children to grow up in, as well as an elegant space for them to live and entertain in. Storage was key. We designed all the joinery, apart from the kitchen cabinets, which came from Devol. The detailed lighting plan outlined the different areas in the large kitchen-diner come playroom, giving the room flexibility. We worked with a wide range of specialist suppliers and craftsmen, such as Christopher Farr Cloth, GP&J Baker, Felix Original Lighting, The French House, Holloways of Ludlow and Acres Farm. We also added to the client's ever growing Art collection by creating a bespoke framed map grid of Victorian London in the entrance hall. The project was extremely enjoyable. The clients were great to work with and allowed us to create a bold and exciting scheme.
