Melanie founded her design studio in 2012 with a passion for transforming spaces and homes. By bridging the disciplines of architecture and interior design, Atelier MW provides clients with a streamlined, design-led and architecturally focused service. All aspects of architecture, interior design and bespoke furniture design are integrated in-house, resulting in an efficient and cohesive design output.

A limited number of commissions are taken on each year, allowing Melanie to personally oversee all projects. She benefits from the expertise of a team of experienced and specialist consultants and craftsmen to deliver each project and draws on several years of professional experience in architectural practice, as well as her formal architectural training at the prestigious Royal College of Art, to bring exceptional creativity and a distinctive design edge to all projects, whatever their size and ambition.

The studio's approach is collaborative and highly personalized. We work closely with our clients to conceive and deliver projects that are tailored to meet their unique aims and are responsive and reflective of context and budgets. They provide well-considered and bespoke design solutions that often exceed expectations.
