"The images that you see here are of our 17th C Cotswold Farmhouse project, located in the Slad Valley, Gloucestershire. The idyllic home was already full of character and charm, featuring handsome fireplaces, flagstone floors and wonderful views so we worked to retain as much of its original beauty and authenticity as possible.
With the aim of enhancing the home's natural beauty, we chose a palette of soft and calming paint colours as a background to vintage fabrics and beautiful pieces of antique furniture, blending the old and the new and creating a lived-in look. The result is muted but filled out with statement pieces. The bedrooms are true to the same philosophy; calm and simple, they have a timeless aesthetic, with one or two statement fabrics setting the tone against a neutral background."
