The team behind Emma Milne Interiors is led by Emma who grew up in the Georgian town of Cheltenham, with its beautiful architecture and surrounding villages with natural stone buildings. Emma saw how these beautifully balanced houses and the consistent use of stunning natural materials form buildings with atmosphere, feeling and character. The team's expertise lies in full-scale renovations and full-house furnishings. Working closely with architects, builders, contractors, furniture makers, and artisans, Emma Milne Interiors creates unique spaces that are tailored specifically to each of client.
Led by a timeless aesthetic, Emma Milne Interiors creates homes that are not overly fashionable and always with an eye on longevity and sustainability. Their mission is to create a better living experience for their clients whilst remaining authentic to the character and architecture of the building. Combining old with new, layering texture and colour. The team loves seeking out special pieces of antique furniture and consistently using materials that feature raw and natural textures, which are balanced alongside thoughtful use of colour and pattern to create spaces that feel real, authentic, personal, and effortless.

" We recently completed work on a Victorian townhouse in a wide tree-lined avenue in the centre of Hove. We were engaged for our full interior design service to include internal architecture, project management of the build and procurement of all fixtures, fittings, and equipment, to include new kitchen and bathrooms.
The house was completely gutted leaving only the stunning original features, to create a warm inviting home for a lovely couple and their young daughter. Timber floors, new joinery throughout to include wall panelling, a coherent and consistent use of colour and natural textures, give this home an informal but elegant feel.
We re-configured areas to make the best use of the space whilst remaining authentic to the inherent character of the building, to include the creation of a new en-suite bathroom, where previously a small bedroom had existed.
Originally the basement of this stunning home was made up of a warren of small dark rooms. Our clients being particularly keen cooks had a dreamy kitchen on their wish list alongside essential designated areas for storage and preparation. We reconfigured the spaces and opened the rooms up to create a larger kitchen dining room, but also installed internal glazed doors alongside metal and timber screens to divide up the spaces in a new way to create those sought-after anti-rooms. The glass lets the light flood in and maximises the feeling of space.
We procured all the furniture, lighting, and soft furnishings, choosing a well-edited selection of old and new, contemporary, and traditional so that the pieces all felt like they had been collected over a longer period."
