The challenge was to transform a large contemporary penthouse in Shoreditch, with floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking London, into a warm, inviting, comfortable space for a young family. Unafraid of colour and pattern, we approached this project with energy and created a home which was both exciting and liveable. To strike this balance we sourced antiques pieces, such as the Swedish 1850s Narrow Enfilade and combined it with one of Matilda Goad’s scalloped lampshades. Whilst still maximising the abundance of light in the apartment, we softened this by treating the windows with heavily interlined curtains and chose a raspberry pink linen from Pierre Frey.
