If you truly appreciate and love your upholstered furniture and understand that they are not just items for everyday use, but are also treasured keepers of memories, then we are the upholsterers to speak with to bring your home alive again. As Lord Asquith described us as the "Rolls Royce of Upholstery", we only ask that you care as much about your furnishings as we do. All our skill and craftsmanship are at the heart of our business, and we make sure they are also infused into your furniture. We specialise in traditional upholstery of furniture, particularly antiques, but also specialise in fabric walling: Our client asked us to fabric-wall the bathroom of her Oxfordshire Manor house. Beautiful fabric stretched over walls and trimmed with braid or wooden edging is used historically to cover less than perfect walls and to soften acoustics of rooms. We have even been known to take our skills to France where the style originated. This style can be used in opulent drawing rooms, sumptuous bedrooms or used in the office to equally good effect. Choosing a wall effect does not have to be limited to paint or wall-paper, and the result that fabric-walling achieves will leave your room looking luxurious.
The List features design professionals, searchable by area, name and specialism. Membership starts at £250 per year, including a subscription to House & Garden (UK only)
