"Images 5, 7, 8 and 9 are examples of our formal contemporary style gardens designed along strong architectural lines emphasising structure and form. Sometimes incorporating an arbour, parterre or water feature, these gardens are softened by dramatic ‘cloud’ planting, feature trees, hedging and shrubs as well as soft seasonal planting.
Images 1 (banner), 2, 4 and 6 show our large country gardens which use the same principles to bring together careful design and detailing with generous planting to achieve the best transition from interior to exterior, and to the wider landscape beyond. From swimming pools to kitchen gardens, we provide a full design consultancy.
The gardens in images 3, 5 and 8 are typical of many of our smaller projects. Careful design and imaginative planting help create really beautiful but usable spaces. Our city gardens sometimes include a fireplace or built-in BBQ and, because they’re on constant view from the interior, we pay great attention to detail, using good quality materials; and garden lighting is key."
