About Us

White Mulberry is a thriving soft furnishings business, located in the rolling hills of the Berkshire/Wiltshire border. Our studio, in converted stables, is open by appointment only, offering an extensive library of fabric, trimmings and wallpaper books as well as a large selection of curtain poles and tracks.  Our in-house workroom is a hive of activity where our team of talented seamstresses make our soft furnishings by hand.

Founded in 2010, director Ceri Cliss has a wealth of experience in assessing clients’ needs and delivering a truly bespoke service. We cover an extensive area, having recently completed projects in London, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, and Gloucestershire with many of our clients returning to us time and again.

"Our focus is always what works best for the client, no matter whether it’s altering a pair of curtains for a window, creating room schemes for a whole house or something in-between.  Drawing on the experience of our team, we offer handmade, bespoke curtains, blinds, cushions, bed valances and lampshades, as well as upholstery including headboards, pelmets, chairs and footstools. We pride ourselves on offering an extensive library of fabric and trimming which clients can view in our showroom.

Our clients may have a clear vision in their mind of what they’d like to achieve for their home and we will help them to choose fabrics to achieve it, or clients may come to us without any vision at all, and we start with a process of elimination, often identifying fabrics that they don’t like and picking out fabrics that appeal. Many of our clients are somewhere in between and we work together to choose the perfect fabrics. We also support a number of talented interior designers enabling their schemes to become reality."
