Gail Race Interiors was established in 2010 and provides a bespoke full-service residential and boutique hospitality design service. We are passionate about creating spaces that enable our clients to live beautifully and mindfully, and we design interiors that reflect your personality and aspirations. With a focus on clean contemporary lines and high-quality natural materials, we design spaces that flow, spaces that combine practical functionality with style. "All of our projects are very different yet all share the same starting point before the adventure begins.
We always start each project by discussing with our clients how they want to feel in their home and dive deep on a practical and personal level to gain a full understanding of the project brief. Aesthetically we begin by taking inspiration from the surrounding landscape, local architecture and the project building key materials.
We were recently recommended to one of our clients who had purchased a home in the UK for their extended family. Whilst the new home was spacious and in a fabulous location, our clients felt that it lacked a sense of place and didn’t reflect their personalities or aspirations. The open plan layout left few options for quiet zones for business zoom calls or cosy film nights and the furniture from past homes wasn’t the right scale or aesthetic.
Choosing materials with warmth and texture to compliment the existing surfaces palette, we incorporated walnut cladding and cement rendering to key areas to create focal points and tactile layers. The client's contemporary art collection guided the wall colour choices and we designed large bespoke furniture pieces to accommodate large family gatherings. New furniture, fireplaces, lighting and accessories were specified throughout.

Our current projects include a luxury apartment in The Bryanston- Hyde Park, a contemporary coastal new build home in West Witterings, Chichester, and a Grade II listed Farmhouse, West Sussex UK."
