Drummonds was founded in 1988 by Drummond Shaw, who at the time was restoring his period house and was finding it difficult to source authentic architectural antiques. Drummond used this experience to set up Drummonds Architectural Antiques and quickly established the company as the best architectural antiques dealer in the UK. Although the business bought and sold a wide variety of architectural antiques, Drummond’s main passion was classic bathrooms. Finding nice original bathroom pieces that could be restored and used with modern plumbing systems became more and more difficult. Today Drummonds’ is a manufacturer and retailer of classic bathroom products.

Today Drummonds’ main business is in the manufacture and distribution of classic bathroom products. The business owns and operates three factories that manufacture cast iron baths, brass fittings and china sanitary ware. Many of our products are made unlike any others. From using dry frit vitreous enamel to seal our freestanding cast iron baths to using the lost wax brass casting process to manufacture our taps, showers and other brassware, Drummonds’ products are incomparable in quality and design.
