"The range of images below reflect the variety of gardens we create; from small city and coastal courtyards to large family gardens and estates to public spaces. We approach each design with the same ethos; responding to the contextual surrounding of the site and allowing the client to feel immersed and deeply rooted in the experience of being in their own space. The garden is much more than an external space, many provide the ability to live, dine and relax as you would within your home. From the start of the design process there is a continuing dialogue between the client and Farlam & Chandler, with the client’s vision at the forefront of any conversation. Creating both an emotional response to the site but also a practical one, we work with local craftspeople to help create spaces of meaning, that are often defined in response to local character, interiors and taste. This collaboration makes for a successful relationship for years to come. We work closely with architects, interior designers and talented specialists such as sculptors and furniture makers to create a harmonious relationship between the house and garden."
