My clients had outgrown their house, fortunately next door was a sizeable and rather beautiful hay barn. It was obvious to have the kitchen and living upstairs to make the most of the views across the yard. The idea is that the space was not overbearing and was comfortable for 2 people as much as for 20. With the kitchen table made from the scaffolding that was used on site, coir carpet and oak flooring, and the beams highlighted with clever LED's. The old kitchen (the last photo) made a fabulous spare room. The space is loved by all that come into it and the useful thing is that my clients picture buying habit can still be fitted in!
