"We were delighted to be commissioned to design and project manage the office fit-out of one of the country’s most exciting and diverse IT firms. As the company is based in a 1850s old shirt factory, respecting the legacy and heritage of this space but infusing it with life and colour for a new generation was key. The brief was to create an open-plan office with 13 meeting rooms. Velvet Interiors has historically worked in domestic design, and we wanted to bring the comforting aspects and individuality of a home to this creative office concept with a bold approach to colour and pattern. Our skilled and trusted team designed and installed a canteen space, reception desk, board rooms, auditorium, bespoke upholstery, lighting, wall coverings and planting, as well as styling the entire space. This was a particularly challenging project where we collaborated with the architects and building team to achieve a truly special office which positively impacts the working culture of this company on a daily basis."
